The Family Experience

Each client family, like each client, has unique support, communication, and confidentiality needs. Koved Care tailors its care plans to meet these needs. Our primary goal is to unburden the family of its responsibility for care management and care giving, so that they can focus on the health of their loved one.

At Koved Care, our ultimate objective is the well-being of our clients. Recognizing that family relationships are a key factor in a client’s well-being, we collaborate closely with family members to help them understand the care management process. We strive to establish open lines of communication that foster the family’s confidence that the safety, support and care of their loved one is in good hands.

If you are experiencing any of the challenges in the table, please consider contacting Koved for a consultation.

Family Concerns
I have noticed major shifts in my loved one’s personality
I think my loved one is a danger to him/herself or others and I am constantly worried about their safety
I think my loved one is emotionally and financially compromising my family
I think my loved one is unable to cope and function independently
I am concerned that I can no longer effectively manage the complex care needs of my loved one
I am having difficulty in communicating and managing all the advisors who need to know about my loved one’s situation (e.g. lawyers, financial advisors, estate planners, therapists and/or medical providers)
I am frustrated by my loved one’s repeated destructive behaviors
Because of the failure of previous treatments, I am doubtful an effective care situation can be found for my loved one
My loved one looks disheveled, uncared for and unhealthy
I feel that the person currently providing care for my loved one is overwhelmed
